Tamsin Ferrier is Aura’s Head of Funerals, and she is based in Stirling. Tamsin’s passion for community and supporting others has shaped her career. She spent nearly a decade with the RNLI, where she dedicated herself to helping families through memory donation. Tamsin’s commitment to bringing people together also led her to volunteer at a hospice, where she played a vital role in fundraising and marketing. One of her most beloved initiatives was the ‘knitted poppies’ project—a tradition that continues to unite the local community in remembrance every year. Her efforts to make death a more open and community-centered conversation have made a lasting impact. Tamsin’s dedication to supporting others doesn’t stop there. She spent three years working with children who experienced early childhood trauma, organising a conference on trauma-informed care. Currently, Tamsin is pursuing a Level 3 qualification in Mental Health & Exercise Coaching, focusing on promoting mental wellbeing through physical activity. When not working, Tamsin remains deeply connected to her community, always finding ways to support and uplift those around her.
