Experience

Paul Jameson is Aura’s founder, and he set up the company back in 2019 alongside his son, David (our CEO), and a family friend, Ben (our COO). After confronting his own mortality following his diagnosis with motor neurone disease in 2017, he became very passionate about end-of-life planning. He wanted to offer better options to families across Britain who are planning a funeral, or learning how to speak to each other about their end-of-life wishes, using his own experience of doing just that. Today, we are a family-run company that truly feels like a family. He lives in Surrey, outside of Guildford, and he loves to spend time with his family. You will likely find him enjoying a few cocktails, partying with his friends and loved ones, and cranking up the karaoke machine. He is also a big Chelsea fan! A big part of his life is about raising money for charity, and so far he has raised over £200,000 for the Motor Neurone Disease Association (MND Assoc.).
