How does a Wales funeral plan work?: We will have you select a close friend or loved one to be your Nominated Representative when you buy an Aura direct cremation plan in Wales. After you’ve died, they’ll inform us, at which point we’ll activate your plan. The money you’ve set aside with us will be used to pay for everything towards your funeral.

Can families attend a ceremony with a funeral plan in Wales?: Unlike with many other companies, Aura proudly allows families to attend the funeral of loved ones if that’s what they’d prefer. An attended ceremony is essentially the same as an unattended direct cremation. The only difference is that mourners will witness a service overseen by a religious minister or a celebrant.

Will my family be left to handle paperwork themselves, if I get an Aura funeral plan in Wales?: When someone passes away, there are certain legal and administrative matters that need to be attended to before a cremation can be legally carried out. Part of what’s included with Aura’s service is full support with the completion of this paperwork. We can give your family as much or as little support as they’d like, but, rest assured that we will always make sure that everything is in place.
